Youth Soccer Clubs Lehigh Valley United and Future Player Academy to Merge Premier Operations for 2020/21

Youth Soccer Clubs Lehigh Valley United and Future Player Academy to Merge Premier Operations for 2020/21

Lehigh Valley United (LVU) and Future Player Academy (FPA) are pleased to announce the merging of their respective premier level teams at strategically selected age groups for the 2020/21-soccer year.

LVU, founded in 2006, has a distinguished history of developing high-level teams including 36 PA State Champions, and National Champion teams in 2013 (LVU 94) and 2019 (LVU 00).  LVU consistently sends over 80% of its graduating players to Division 1, 2 & 3 College Programs each year.

FPA has been achieving excellence in the Greater Montgomery County area since the club’s inaugural 2015 season.  In Just 4 short years FPA has won 3 PA State Championships, 1 Regional Championship, and National Quarter-Finalist status in 2019.

According to Executive Director of Soccer Operations, Greg Ramos, “ Players from the FPA territory have been extremely influential in getting some of our very best LVU teams to the next level over the years.  A quarter of last year’s National Champion team, LVU 00, came from FPA, and even more are participating on the LVU/PFA 01 team this year.  This merger formalizes LVU and FPA’s efforts at competing nationally at multiple High School age teams on both the boys and girls sides.”

Matt Sirolli, President, DOC and Founder of FPA feels strongly about the merging of LVU and FPA Premier level operations.  “Consistently competing at the highest state, region and national levels at multiple age groups is extremely challenging,” says Sirolli.  “We believe collaborating with LVU on a sustainable, high-end, development model encompassing a greater geographical territory is key to consistently delivering the best college soccer opportunities for our membership year after year.”

LVU and FPA share a co-branded LVU/PFA 2001 Boys team currently sitting in first place of the prestigious US Youth Soccer National League.  Post merger, LVU and FPA have agreed to minimally add 5 new LVU/FPA combined teams encompassing the best player, coaching, facility and administrative resources within the newly merged Club’s premier arm for the 2020/21 season.

Information regarding tryouts, coaching assignments and team operations for 2020/21 will be published soon.  For more information regarding current LVU and FPA operations go to; www.lehighvalleyunited.com, and www.futureplayeracademy.com.  You can also contact Greg Ramos at [email protected], or Matt Sirolli at [email protected].
